"Fill The Boot" was a huge success!! On June 10th and 11th SCFD, Local 1171 and volunteers were able to raise over $3400 for Muscular Dystrophy (MDA). Great Job!!

This money goes to the research and support of Muscular Dystrophy Association. Brothers and Sisters, you did it again just like you do every year. You all stepped up to the plate and hit a grand slam performing a service without limits! Hats off to all of you that make this possible year in and year out. I want to extend my gratitude to each business and individual that gave any amount of time to raise funds for MDA. "Jerry's Kids" Great Job everybody. I cant say THANK YOU enough !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly fund raisers and volunteer work pull character out of a person. The Santa Clara Fire department personnel has exceptional character. Thank You, thank you, thank you, ............
