Rivermark Tip-A-Firefighter Results

Hello all,

I am pleased to report that the Firefighters Foundation is in receipt of just under $1850.00 from the event held on Monday night at the Red Robin Restaurant at Rivermark Plaza. So many people work together to make these events successful. Below is a list of those that the Foundation would like to thank.

On Duty Personnel providing PR staffing:

E3 Capt. Tom Evans, F/F D. Lombardo, F/F D. Yee
E6 Capt. R. Peterson, D/E D. Novakovich, F/F M. Diani
E9 Capt. W. Toland, F/F A. Perez, F/F S. Jaramillo
H9 D/E W. Domster
M5 D/E M. Herscovitch, F/F D. Shaddle

...and special thanks to B/C P. Picchi for scheduling the crews. Tom Evans was a big hit with the Red Robin staff as he brought over a tray of his award winning cookies for them to enjoy... and they did.

Off Duty "servers"

Bill Stone, John Costere, Jim Arnaudo, Brendan Milton, Vince Lucero, Trevor Cantanho, Rob Contreras, Marcell Hlousek, Dave Battagin, Steve Maciel, Jerome Soto, V/R Ryan Eddy, and Jeremy Ray.

Of special note, the ladies of administration (and friends) held their "monthly night out" meeting at the Red Robin. As we all know, this is a fun group to be around and we are grateful that they chose to have their meeting there.

This event was conducted with much assistance from the Rivermark Mom's Club. They are a very active and energetic group. They worked very hard to ensure the success of the evening.

And lastly, thank you to the senior staff for graciously allowing once again the use of the Wedge. The engine is really an eye-catcher and always adds a special attraction for kids and adults alike.

The next event will likely be in early October at Holder's Country Inn. The Foundation is deeply grateful to the Red Robin, Chili's El Camino, and Holder's for allowing us to come in to their businesses and raise funds to help support the mission of the Firefighters Foundation.

Judging by the length of this email, I surely must have mentioned everyone! If I somehow forgot to list your name, I apologize.

Thanks again to all involved...

Mike
