Redmond Health and Fitness Symposium
Honolulu, Hawaii 1999

General President Al
Whitehead opened the Symposium with a speech that applauded the success and hard
work of Labor and Management in developing the Candidate Physical Ability Test.
Hawaii
State Representative Neil Abercrombie gave a rousing speech to those in
attendance in support of labor and labor issues.

There were many highly
professional lecturers and workshop instructors who made interesting and
valuable presentations to the IAFF members and guests.
C-Shift
Vice President David Euerle and Tenth District Vice President Jim Ferguson
prepare to attend another one of the many fact filled workshops presented by the
Symposium.

Dave Euerle, Chairman of Local
1171's Health and Fitness Committee chats with several presenters at the
physical agility test validation workshop. Pictured at the far left
is Kay Baldwin, Section Chief of the Employment Litigation Section, U.S.
Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.

But it wasn't all work
and no play as the following photo collage illustrates.

And finally,
photographic proof that Truckers in all parts of the world share the
same basic philosophy, "Eat 'til you're
sleepy, sleep 'til you're
hungry."
"Aloha!"
